About Us

Our Mission
Our goal is to support children and young adults with a variety of social and communicative needs, including Autism, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, and sensory sensitivities.  We plan activities and implement strategies related to social and communication skills, in addition to working on sensory, speech, fine, and gross motor skills as often as possible.

Our Philosophy
Our programs allow children and young adults to improve social, communication, and play skills in a small group of similar-age peers. Our main goal is to help children and young adults feel confident and successful in social situations by providing a structured and supportive environment in which to explore and play. We believe that generalization occurs best when skills are practiced in “true to real life” situations. Therefore, group lessons and activities are designed to replicate as many “real life” situations as possible. Each week, group members participate in a structured schedule which may include seated and active games, snack and cooking projects, lessons and group discussions relevant to the topic or “theme” of the day, as well as time outdoors (weather permitting). Teens and young adults work on collaborative projects and go on outings in the community to learn to navigate real life situations.
